Spencer has been pretty sick with the flu this week. Monday, Wednesday, and now today we have woken up with a very messy child and had to wash everything on or near him.
He now has immodium in his system. His intestines are not processing anything well. He he been on the BRAT diet with added yogurt, chicken soup and chicken (according to doctor). Luckily bananas, yogurt, and chicken are his favorites. I am just so sick of having a sick child. I am sick of waking up at way early times of the day in order to jump up and start leaning off child.
I am just down. I need to study. I need him better.

I love planning for things, events, trips, playgroups, field trips, classes. Planning and making lists, the seeing If I can make my list and plan more fun. I love this.
I also love teaching people and children things, concepts, ideas, facts. Helping people learn how to use their imagination. I just love it.
I love reading. I have not allowed myself to read actual books with paper as long as I am still in school. (school text books so not count as books) I have overcome this by allowing myself to listen to books on cd in my car.
I just finished Ender's game. I had always hear about this short story turned novel as one of the great sci-fi concepts. So many novels have been built off of this novels genre concept of insect invaders. It really is a good story.
I love cooking. I have expanded recently to slow cooking, crock pot style. I am hoping this can help me out during all my school days this winter. I currently have black eyes peas soup in the pot. I am also expanding my bread experience. I would love to be able to only eat fresh baked bread in the future. It really is easy to make.
I love my family. All of them.
I love my friends and miss them. I am just to busy to make time for them at the moment. I'm hoping to plan something soon so I get to see people.

I seem to be figuring out this semester. It won't be so bad. I only have midterm tests in 2 classes. I have Finals in all 4 classes but 2 are take home. Of the remaining 2, one of them is a 100 question multiple choice exam.
I have 3 papers to write total. 4 presentations. and 1 group project. It isn't that bad all things considered.
I am even getting into the swing of things back at the coop preschool.
Spencer is doing okie at the daycare. We have found no major flaws with it so far.
My biggest issue right now is my apartment. It is just scary cluttered and messy. I need to tackle 3 things in it tomorrow. Trekki and I will be doing more work on it this weekend.
Even the moms club seems to be getting along at the moment.
I am feeling much better today than the past few weeks.

Classes are just really slow to start. I finally feel like we are getting into curriculum and we are 3 weeks in. That being said, I only had 2 of my classes this week. That's it, just two classes. I have homework and I am just so annoyed at the way classes are that I can't concentrate. I am having difficulty getting into this routine.
I am very frustrated.

After 3 days of eating about 600 calories a day, Spencer finally started eating last night. He ate a half of a HUGE burrito, and a cup of milk. This morning he has eaten more.
I'm glad he is hungry.
I think I'll slice up some steak for tonight.

Spencer started his daycare last friday. He will be going 3 full days a week. I start school tomorrow. I have bought most of my books fairly cheap this time. I have pre-read the syllabus for one of my classes. I have my backpack ready. My lunch and kiddo's lunch have been packed. I have 4 cups of tea and 3 cups of gatorade in the fridge ready for me. I updated all my anti-virus programs and my computers are clear.
Tomorrow I drive up to the city and find my first class.
I also hope to add one last class to this schedule. We shall see how this goes.
Trekki got to work from home a little today. He is still working. They ran out of major contracts to work on but his vacation starts this weekend and hopefully when he gets back there will be stuff for him to do.
He is going to burningman. I have school obligations and Spencer to take care of so I can not go. I am also not ready to go to bman at my current weight. It makes me just want to sit and sleep all day. And he wants to go play all day so we fight more than I like.
My desk is almost cleaned. I have this list of things to do while Trekki is gone. I hope to get it all done.
My printer is still not printing colors, I think the printer might be dying. If I have to I'll buy a new one. UGH!

I have not posted in a while. It isn't because i like facebook more. It is much more lazy than that. My new netbook did not have the password memorized for lj and I could not remember it. So I finally re-set my lj password today so I ca post here.
My life is going ok.
I have been doing what I need to do in very little spurts so that I enjoy my time off.
I need to get into a work out routine. I know I can work out on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday since I won't have kiddo. I need to figure out something I can do everyday like sit ups or leg ups at home for 10 minutes. If I do that 7 days a week and then walk (or go to the gym) my 3 days without kiddo) I'll be able to kick my body into gear. I miss my old body.
Honey and I are still very much in love. I have realized if/when we have our nuptual ceremony it will be many years from now. I am okie with this thought for now. I know it wil change due to mood swings (hahahha ) but for now I think this event will be 3-5 years from now.
Spencer starts his first non home daycare on friday. I know he will do amazing. His potty training is going well. He can now wear pants and still make it to the potty. Wearing underwear he has accidents but he is trying real hard. I think our next pack of diapers will be pull ups. I want him to practice pottying at school and daycare. He will still be with me two week days and the weekend each week.
I set up my school schedule so that I will school on Mondays and Wednesdays. Kiddo will also be in daycare on tuesday so I can study. I hope this will all work out. since foot ball season is starting I will also have Sundays to study. The boys will be playing and watching foot ball so I can go hide and study some where.
I babysat for a friend for the first time. It was sooo nice. I started pre-reading my text books and got some hemming done on my new pants. I plan on requesting babysitting time before each exam so that I can study once the kids are in bed. I think this will work out.
I have been spending time with the friends in my life that I love. 3 moms and one women who is just fantastic t hang with. They keep me sane. Funny thing is they keep telling me I keep them sane. It must be a good symbiotic relationship. :)
My dad retired in October. I think he would work longer if he could. I love him and worry about him all the time. I wish I was a little closer.
I have bee cleaning and getting rid of stuff like crazy. We have donated a cars worth of clothes, bedding, towels in the last few weeks. Even some books went. I am so tempted to just get rid of everything that we do not use on a montly basis but I can't. I am tempted to get rid of all of our furniture and go buy minimalist space saving ikea crap just to fit better in this place. But I like 2 of our pieces and Joe loves his furniture.

I do not understand people who fill their lives with everything they can so they do not have to sit still and think.
I also do not understand people who fill their lives with nothing so much that they have nothing and can't survive.
I just do not get either of these types of people.

I just dropped some friends from my read list. I realize I will go to each persons page when I want to read them.
I am getting double for a lot of people due to facebook.
I also dropped a few people whose rants made me sad daily. I need better mojo in my life on a daily basis. I can check up on these people when I am in the mood to read the ups and downs of their lives.
In other news today is my last day of school for 5 weeks. The University is having such major cut backs that I will not be able to sign up for school until right before it starts. They are slashing classes and cutting teachers. I am a little sad about the whole thing.
Spencer is doing amazing in general. He is learning constantly. We can now take him to the movie theatre without a problem.
I plan on going to visit my family next week. I hope to do some crafting.
I also really want to re-arrange the apartment.
We shall see what happens.

I got rid of one of my babysitters. She kept yelling at kiddo and had to much turmoil in her life. it just got to extreme.
I found two other babysitters to watch kiddo and then ONE of them stopped answering phone calls, emails, and just totally flaked on me.
That left me one, she is a friend of ours, she is out of work and after two days of watching kiddo this week, she offered to watch him for the last two weeks of school.
This fall we will put spencer into daycare at a institutional daycare instead of a home based one. I need security and it is worth several thousand dollars a year for spencer to have a safe reliable evironment and me to have peace of mind. Once I finish school and my credential in 2011-2012, I will be able to be home with kiddo after school each day.
My classes are going ok. I have an A in both. I need to write 2.5 papers by Tuesday. I have .5-.75 of one already done. Tonight once my child passes out, I plan to write up one. (i hope)
Tomorrow I plan on cleaning house, writing paper, I have friends coming in from Portland to stay, and I have to babysit tomorrow night.
Saturday we have our preschool camp out event. One night in the woods with lots of parents and kids.
Sunday I work on papers. Tuesday morning I finish papers while kiddo is a prescool.
My life gets easier once the papers are done. I swear. Life is really weird though.

We woke up slowly today. I finally got everyone out of the house by noon. We drove to In N Out each ate a cheese burger. (yes, kiddo eats his own cheese burger) Then on to Costco. By the time we were done it was 2:45. Spencer was exhausted and fell asleep on the way home.
Good news, spencer demanded his diaper off and went pee on the potty at In N Out. Yay!
We went home and I put the food away. Spent a few quiet moments with Trekki and sent him off to get a crib for the new baby (NOT OURS). While he was gone, I made my phone calls, cooked dinner - lettuce wraps, and prepped the berries to make ice cream.
We bought an ice cream ball maker at Costco. It works really well and we got Ice cream in 20 minutes. Next time we need more ice made ahead of time. I got a good arm work out.
We worked in the garden, getting out first crop of green beans out. 1 whole handfull!
I posted 2 forums pieces for music class and Now I plan on doing some chapter reading for the "other class".
We also need to pull the crib inside. I think it will go to SLO in July when we drive down for SLO fair. It's new owners live down there. Yay for free cribs!

| One more visit with family before school |

I went and visited my family before school starts. I was there Thursday til Tonigt. (home now) I got to play spore for the first time. It was fun.
I made Spencer a new ren fair costume including a wool cape for cold fairs. I made 5 cloth bags for when we go grocery shopping. All very unique. I hope to use them to wrap gifts also. If people do not love them, then we take them home and use them again.
Trekki super cleaned the apartment while I was gone. It looks amazing! I could even have people over.
One of my classes starts tomorrow. I just looked at the syllabus and it all seems very doable. Not to much work. I already do a lot of the stuff we need to do with spencer.
Spencer misses my family already. He starts with a new babysitter tomorrow. I want him to learn spanish so I will be paying this woman to watch him and teach him. She has a almost 3 year old daughter.
It is so hard trying to figure out childcare for the fall. UGH!

We will see how this goes. It helps that I ran out of diapers. :)
In other news, I am cleaning today. 3 loads of dishes, clean kitchen floor, put clothes away, wash 3 loads laundry, unpack from weekend trip, Pack for trip next weekend (as I put things away), Vacuum, put toys away, clean off my desk.
I have an appointment in July for a colonoscopy. I am scared of this, very much. My mom's cancer started forming when she was 37. I am 32 and feel I need to start checks.
We will be going to see my family Thursday-Sunday. Trekki is staying home this time. He has things to do. I like getting time away from the house. Trekki likes working on projects without kiddo being around. It all works out.
Conversation we had 5 minutes ago:
Me: Do you want split pea soup for dinner?
Spencer: I want carrot soup!
Me: Would you like GREEN soup with carrots for dinner?
Spencer: I like green, would it be carrot soup?
Me: YES, Green carrot soup!
Thus my peas are soaking and I get to use my carrots up!

| Tahoe and Makers fair |

We went to Tahoe Friday night. Visited Valhalla Rennesaince Faire for the first time. It was really fun. Spencer lead us around and explored everything. He was pretty good. We would love to go to this Faire regularly.
Saturday night we drove home to sleep in our bed.
Sunday we had a lazy morning and debated Maker Faire. Around noon we got a call offering us free tickets. We picked up our tickets and went to the Faire. Spencer lead us through each building. He was totally exhausted by the time we left and had a flip out on the way to the car.
We got home and rested. I fell asleep at 8:30. Woke up at 9:30 and dragged kiddo to bed with me.
Maker Faire is just OMG amazing. Spencer loved it to bits. Trekki was happy to go. Next year we go all weekend.
Sadly both Tahoe and Maker Fair are on the same weekend so I think Maker Fair will win next year.
